Such a pleasure to collaborate on this cover with @teenyrobots ! This little zine contains two of the pieces we did with @joshpkramer for @thenib and will be available at @spxcomics this weekend (table A7). Also, make sure to stop by the Nib’s table (L9) to pick up their magazine + some merch :)

Very excited about this draft on the history of our electric grid. Drawing lots of pages, reading lots of books with extremely similar titles. This’ll eventually be a part of my book with the amazing @rhkidsgraphic 📚🏭💡

A panel from the upcoming comic, “This is what democracy looks like.” This comic outlines many of the overlooked pieces of government but also talks about how democracy exists (and often works best) at the local level and outside of government. We’re trying to give the comic away for free as much as possible, but we just launched a kickstarter to help with distribution and workshops. There’s some cool rewards in there. There’s a lot more to democracy than voting for a president. Government is always talked about like it’s one big thing, which overlooks the tens of thousands of separate systems ranging from congressional committees and state offices down to neighborhood meetings that we can engage in. This is a page from a 32-page comic I worked on with @cartoonstudies that lays out the basics of how U.S. government is set up. Contributors and co-cartoonists include @nomikane @james_sturmish @summer.pierre @halliejaypope and a beautiful cover by @kevinczap . More info soon :)
