
This is What Democracy Looks Like: A Graphic Guide to Governance is a 32-page comic that lays out the different branches of the federal government as well as the many overlooked layers of government, from state elections down to neighborhood meetings.
The comic was produced in collaboration with CCS and a number of cartoonists including James Sturm and Nomi Kane, and includes short comics by Hallie Jay Pope and Summer Pierre. After being published in 2019, tens of thousands of copies with distributed around the country for free.
