I made this graphic for Resist!, a print issue of comics and artwork available for free tomorrow at marches and comic stores across the country on inauguration day. The issue is a powerful collection of mostly female artists who submitted comics and artwork about their reactions to the election and resisting intolerance. I thought it was important to identify each of the people who will be directing policy at the helm of the country’s major agencies and institutions.
I hope that the substantive discussion gave undecided voters like Ken Bone the important details they need to decide whether to vote for Clinton or the creature from The Thing (1982) for President of the United States.
I’m thinking of drawing Donald Trump as increasingly absurd characters in an attempt to distill the essence of the man and his campaign. Trump as Evil Toddler seemed like an obvious place to start.
